We are excited to share that Dr. Haifeng Chen, Head of Data Science Department at NEC Laboratories, will be one of our keynote speakers at our April IAB Meeting. He will speak on "Advancing LLMs: Domain-Specific, Trustworthy, and Multimodal Capabilities."
Dr. Chen received his Ph.D degree in computer engineering from Rutgers University in 2004. He has co-authored more than 100 conference/journal publications, including the best paper runner-up at SigKDD’16, and has over 80 patents granted.
His research results have led to advanced solutions and products for various industrial domains including power plants, financial, retail, and so on. Dr. Chen has served in the program committee for a number of top AI conferences, and has been in the panel of National Science Foundation(NSF) programs. He is a member of the school of Systems and Enterprises Advisory Board in Stevens Institute of technology, New Jersey. He also serves on the industrial advisory board for PPI.
